2. Competent Crew
This course is ideal for beginners who want to learn how to steer a boat under power and sail, and who want to become an active member of a crew.
3. Day Skipper
If you already have some experience and want to get certified to be able to take charge of a sailing yacht, the Day Skipper course is perfect for you.
4. Coastal Skipper
The RYA Coastal Skipper course is ideal for all sailors, who have considerable sailing experience, and want to be able to take a sailing yacht through coastal passages for day and night

Experience Required
At Helmsmen Academy, the RYA Start Yachting course takes place in the beautiful Ibiza. Depending on the time of the year, recommend to bring the following: Waterproof Clothing, Sunhat & Sun blocker & Sunglasses (Summer), Wind jacket & trousers (please check with us, we have some in our sailing school).
