Mileage Building
At Helmsmen Academy you can also go on mile building courses with other sailors and one of our RYA certified sailors. These courses are beneficial in preparation for some of the advanced boat license courses such as the yachtmaster, and they also help to deepen your sailing skills and knowledge.
You will be taught by our highly qualified and experienced instructors, who have been carefully selected and will give you an unforgettable RYA sailing experience

If you already have some experience and want to get certified to be able to take charge of a sailing yacht, the Day Skipper course is perfect for you.

The RYA Coastal Skipper course is ideal for all sailors, who have considerable sailing experience, and want to be able to take a sailing yacht through coastal passages for day and night.
