At Helmsmen Boat Club Ibiza, we offer our members the opportunity to experience the full value and joy of boat ownership without the hassle of maintenance. With a focus on excellence, we provide access to a fleet of top of the line new boats and a wealth of sailing and boating knowledge.
Our boat club office, situated in the picturesque Marina Santa Eulalia, serves as a hub of activity for our members. Here, you can start your day with a coffee before heading out on the water. Additionally, members have the option to take advantage of our water activity equipment, including wakeboards and snorkels, ensuring an unforgettable day out at sea. Growing up, my father taught me how to sail. Over the past 25 years we spent all our summers sailing all over Europe.
I have always loved sailing and with the years, it became a great passion of mine, and so my main occupation in life.
I am a second-generation, and RYA qualified sail and power boat instructor and a lifelong skipper. I’m driven by the desire to share my love of sailing with people, who share the passion for adventure and freedom you get when being out on a boat.
ln 2020, I decided to pursue my dream and opened a sailing and motorboat school along with a prestige charter company and boat club here on this beautiful island of Ibiza, which my family and I now call home.

Dominic O'Brien
Instructor
Meet Dominic, our expert instructor at Helmsmen Club.
With qualifications including Powerboat Level 2 Instructor, Cruising Instructor, Yachtmaster Instructor, Jet Ski Instructor, First Aid Instructor, and SRC Radio Instructor, Dominic is ready to deliver top-notch training in boating safety and skills. Originally from Brighton, UK, Dominic's passion for boating has driven his career as a charter captain and instructor for over seven years. Whether he's on the water or DJing around the island, his love for boating and Ibiza shines through in everything he does.
Martin Buzzano
Instructor
Meet Martin, a skilled sailor and enthusiastic instructor.
Martin has honed his expertise through years of competitive sailing and adventurous cruising across the waters of Argentina, Brazil, the Caribbean, the US, and Central America.
With professional qualifications including a Spanish professional skipper license (PPER), RYA Yachtmaster offshore certification in both power and sail, and RYA cruising instructor credentials, Martin is equipped with the knowledge and experience to deliver top-notch instruction.
Anna Weber

Passion, hard work, and positive attitude is the base of what Anna lives by and chances are that she will be your first point of contact when you call or e-mail us. She is an expert in getting back to you ASAP, able to give you full up to date information on availability and to answer any questions you may have.

Simon Cop
RYA Yachtmaster Instructor
Originally from France, Simon discovered his love for sailing through family voyages across the Mediterranean, Caribbean, and beyond. After training at Les Glénans and working as a dinghy and windsurfing instructor for several years, he turned professional at 24, earning his RYA Yachtmaster Offshore and Yachtmaster Instructor certifications. He gained extensive offshore experience through deliveries and Arctic expeditions. At Helmsmen Club, Simon brings a calm, methodical approach to teaching, helping students build both confidence and competence at sea.
Edoardo Mazzola
RYA Powerboat Instructor and Marketing Manager
Edoardo grew up sailing the Mediterranean and Caribbean, inspired by his family’s deep connection to the sea. After completing an intensive commercial sailing course, he moved to Ibiza in 2022 to turn his passion into a profession. As an RYA Powerboat Instructor and RYA Yachtmaster Offshore, he brings extensive hands-on experience and a strong foundation in seamanship and navigation. At Helmsmen Club, he combines his practical skills with a background in sales and marketing to deliver engaging, high-quality training, ensuring students gain confidence and competence on the water.
