Is there a limit to the number of days I can use the boats? 

The total amount of reservations that you can have in a year is not restricted! Each member has their plan with a minimum of guaranteed days a month but you have numerous ways of reserving your boat for extra days so it is basically unlimited!

Can I buy a membership for my business?

Yes, we offer corporate memberships. Call to discuss how we can tailor a membership for your business.

Who fuels the boat?

The fun part of being an HBC member, is that you don’t need to worry about a thing. We will take of everything from start to end. You will always have fuel when you arrive for your reservation!

Do you offer sailing courses / licenses?

We are a certified sailing school and offer a variety of international licenses and courses compatible with your skills and needs. Check out our HELMSMEN ACADEMY website or contact us directly for more information.

Can I share my membership with a family member?

You can only share a membership with a family member of the same household.  The anual cost is €1,000 (7m/9m) or €2,000 (12m) per family member.

What other costs are there?

You only have to pay for your own fuel and also Oasis Club Protection. You can either choose to provide a deposit for your membership OR you can choose the annual cover where you have a smaller liability.

What times can I book a boat?

The boats are available from 10:00 until 

You are free to use the boat for the whole day or only part of 

it. It’s up to you!

What is the cancellation policy for a reservation?

We only ask that you be considerate of your co-boaters and let us know of your cancellation as early as possible so that another member can take advantage of the day.

And if extra sailing training is required for you to be the helmsman yourself, additional costs may occur.
  • What is the duration of a charter day?
    A normal charter day takes about 8 hours. We recommend boarding between 10AM and 12PM to make the most out of your charter day! You will be back in the port by 7PM. If you wish to end the trip earlier, that is absolutely always possible.
  • What is included in a boat charter?
    Our boat charter includes the rental of the boat, the services of a professional skipper )Depending on the boat), basic onboard amenities and soft beverages. You can add water sports equipment to your boat day at an additional cost.
  • Do I need any prior boating experience?
    No prior boating experience is necessary. Our experienced skippers handle all the navigation and safety aspects, allowing you to relax and enjoy the journey. However, if you wish to get involved in the sailing process, you can ask us about our boat license courses.
  • How many people can the boat accommodate?
    The capacity of each boat varies. Our fleet includes boats that can accommodate anywhere from 2 to 12 passengers comfortably. Please check the specifications of each boat to ensure it meets your group’s needs.
  • What should I bring on a boat charter?
    We recommend bringing food, snacks, extra water, sunscreen, hats, sunglasses, swimwear, towels, and any personal items you may need.
  • Can we bring our own food and drinks?
    Yes, you are welcome to bring your own food and drinks. We can also recommend food services from restaurants for a packed lunch. If you have any specific dietary preferences or allergies, please let us know in advance so we can make suitable recommendations.
  • What happens in case of bad weather?
    Safety is our top priority. If the weather conditions are deemed unsafe for sailing, we will either reschedule your charter or offer a full refund. Our team will keep you informed and work with you to find the best solution.
  • Are there restroom facilities on the boat?
    Yes, most of our boats are equipped with restroom facilities. The size and amenities of the restrooms may vary depending on the boat, so please check the boat’s specifications for more details.
  • What are you recommended routes for a perfect day at sea?
    Our recommended routes include some of the most beautiful and desired beaches around Ibiza and Formentera. Some of them only accessible by boat. You can explore our recommended routes here. In each route page you can read about the places you'll visit, alongside an informative map of the route.
  • Can we customize our route?
    Absolutely! While we have popular routes, we are happy to tailor the itinerary to suit your preferences. Discuss your desired destinations with our team, and we will do our best to create a personalized experience for you.
  • What if someone gets seasick?
    If you or someone in your group is prone to seasickness, we recommend taking preventative measures before the trip, such as over-the-counter medication or natural remedies. Our skippers are experienced in handling such situations and will do their best to ensure everyone’s comfort.
  • How do I book a boat charter?
    Booking a boat charter is easy. Simply visit our website, select your preferred boat and dates, and complete the booking form. You can also contact our customer service team for assistance with your reservation. We recommend booking in advance, especially during peak seasons, to secure your desired date and boat. Alternatively you can contact us here.
  • Can I bring my own food and drinks onto the boat?
    Of course! You are free to bring your own food and drinks on board. We only ask that you will bring the boat clean and trash free at the end of the day.
